AUSA SUPPORTS SOLDIERS

Welcome to AUSA North Texas – Audie Murphy Chapter, supporting the entire United States family in the geographic area of Mineral Wells in the west, The Red River in the north, Texarkana in the east and Waco to the south.

As part of the Fourth Region, we are the oldest AUSA Chapter in North Texas with a tradition dating back to nearly half a century. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit professional organization and actively support America’s Army including Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Army civilians, retirees, veterans, wounded warriors, Gold Star Families, JROTC and ROTC candidates.

Join us and share our vision. We have numerous opportunities for community partners, members, volunteers and concerned citizens who wish to engage with and serve the North Texas military community. We also work together with community partners who wish to support the Army in our area. Talk with us about your ideas, and we will turn the vision into reality.

For over four decades, our all-volunteer team has supported numerous professional and leadership development programs in the region in North Texas. These include ROTC/JROTC leadership programs, Vietnam Veterans, Wounded Warriors, recruiting initiatives, and several other programs. We have committed to support the Wreaths Across America, Army Scholarship Foundation, Operations Once in a Lifetime, and Defenders of Freedom this year. Major chapter activities this year include the STEM and Recruiting Battalion Event, 2022 Our Community Salutes DFW events, 248th Army Birthday in June, Young Professionals Corn Hole championship, as well as the Annual AUSA Wounded Warrior Golf Classic. This year’s Army Scholarship candidates’ application event will be hosted by AUSA North Texas – Audie Murphy Chapter.
